Is ItBuild open source?
No. Standard modules are delivered as compiled binaries with embedded licenses. Your Core module is entirely yours. Platform documentation and templates are available publicly.
Can I use ItBuild without TrexWallet?
Yes. AuthProxy (auth, proxy, files, notifications) + your Core module is the minimal setup. TrexWallet, Chat, and CRM are all optional.
What if I need a blockchain you don't support?
Custom scanners can be developed. The scanner architecture (ScanTaskBase) is documented and follows a consistent pattern. Enterprise tier includes custom scanner development.
How do updates work?
Snapshot versioning — you request a build of current master, get a binary with your license. No forced updates. You control when to upgrade. Run different module versions simultaneously.
Can AI agents really manage financial transactions?
Yes, with appropriate security level. McpVerified requires Ed25519 timestamp signing, and sensitive operations use OTP multi-turn confirmation. AI agents can transfer funds, but only with cryptographic proof of authorization.
What about vendor lock-in?
Your data is in SQL Server on your servers. Your Core module is your code. If you stop using ItBuild modules, your data and business logic remain. Standard modules are the only dependency, and they run offline (no phone-home, no cloud requirement).
How much does SQL Server Express cost?
$0. SQL Server Express runs free on Linux with Docker. It has a 10 GB database limit — sufficient for most projects. Upgrade to Standard/Enterprise if needed.
Is this suitable for regulated industries?
Yes. At least one of the projects on this infrastructure operates with a Malta FSA license. The platform supports MICA compliance, AML controls, GDPR alignment, and full audit trails.
